This venue serves up board games with coffee drinks on the side. Board Fox is in the gaming business and hosts board game nights like Pokemon League, Warmachine, Starwars and open play. The nitro coffee, cold brew, latte's, fruit smoothies are a winner. You can't miss having a little community competition with your coffee.
Trailhead Coffee - 413 Monument Road
There is an undeniable synergy between biking, hiking and coffee in Grand Junction. Often this crowd will meet up at the Trailhead Coffee Shop before heading out to the Monument or Lunch Loops trails. You can get your carbs with burritos, bagels, panini's and quiche served all day. There are several different parlor rooms to choose from to settle down and enjoy the local spread of drink options and sweet treats. Artful Cup attracts a lot of customers from nearby medical facilities and condominiums. Proceeds support HopeWest Kids.
Four Winds Coffee and Tea - 1235 Bookcliff Avenue
Four Winds is a coffee shop that brings us back to our college days. Four Winds is just down the street from CMU and of course the students gather there. The shop offers study and meeting rooms, bulletin boards and racks of books to browse. The shop uses locally roasted Colorado Legacy Coffee and serves up scrumptious baked goods made in their kitchen. Happy hour is 2-4 with drinks $1.00 off. There is a weekly Sunday supper that is free for the college kids. The Christ Center, a tax-exempt Christian organization is part of Four Winds.
Octopus Coffee Hut - 443 N. 6th St.
This Octopus location sits in the parking lot of the Downtown Main Public Library. It is a walk-up or bike-up service and the coffee and offerings are excellent. Octopus tries to use as much local and organic products in its coffee and food items as possible. Spring through Fall you can sit at the little outdoor tables and savor your brew.
